Want to try something different and get a badge at the end of it?

Surrey Scout Radio Team are offering a one day training course which covers everything you need to get the Scout Communicator Badge, and all the training you need to get the Explorer Science & Technology badge.

During the course you'll learn how radio communication works, the phonetic alphabet, how to communicate effectively and best of all get hands on experience using the radio equipment. All equipment is provided and the course is suitable for everyone. Come and find out what the Radio Team do, and have a go using Radios. It's a 1 day course, starting 10am and finishing 5pm, with everything you need provided, including lunch for £8.
